Midwifery
Holistic midwifery care includes preconception (if desired), prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. In depth appointments (min. 1 hour) occur monthly from approx 10 weeks until 28 weeks, bi-weekly until 36 and then weekly until birth and through postpartum. Limited availability as I only take 2-3 homebirth clients per month. This global fee includes labs, NB testing, and birth assistant. Your water birth kit is an additional charge. The tub rental is included. Ultrasound is covered by your insurance, but is a cash payment to Palmetto Ultrasound

Monitrice
What is a monitrice? A monitrice offers the emotional, physical, and informational support of a doula, but is usually either a midwife or nurse who is licensed to provide clinical care during labor. Two prenatals and two postpartum visits and full labor support are included, along with check-ins throughout your pregnancy and postpartum. Preference is given to former clients. Monitrice services is for those who must deliver in the hospital. Very limited availability.

Extended Postpartum Care
Caring for yourself and newborn is a huge transition and most of us need extra hands and reassurance. Mamas who birth in the hospital also deserve midwifery care. One prenatal planning visit and 5 postpartum visits are included. Each visit is a minimum of 2 hours. Contact me to design what extended postpartum care looks like for you.

Weekly Postpartum Visits
Around the world, frequent visits to the new mother are normal. Weight checks, vitals, steams, herbal baths and nourishing meals can be part of your postpartum care.

Lactation
As a mom of 4 who breastfed for 10 years, tandem nursed, and has been supporting breastfeeding moms for 10 plus years, Jen works closely with you and wonderful IBLC’s throughout your breastfeeding journey.

Vaginal Steams & Herbal Baths
Steams and baths are offered in postpartum to FMM clients upon request and in extended postpartum packages, but can also be scheduled as a stand alone apt.

Holistic Parenting Group
Parenting can be lonely. We grow through community. Jen wants new and seasoned mothers to raise each other up. As she finishes her Perinatal Mental Health Certification this fall, hosting a tea each month for Full Moon Mamas is a future priority.
